Not even an amateur astronomer. Owner of a Celestron NexStar 8SE with the full eyepiece package and H-Alpha solar filter; uses it to look at Saturn then returns indoors where it’s warm. 1. Rhonda,
I big THANK YOU!! to you and all those who help make the Blackout Rally a Great Success!! The availability of telescopes for night time & day of viewing was very cool. We had a blast and it was nice of everyone to join in for such a huge birthday party πŸ™‚
You’ve go us on a mission to join in on the 2024 Eclipse. With the incredible path across the states, the question becomes where’s the “best” spot??
Have to start working on & with the local Streamers there to get a Rally going!

    • Hey Wieders, thanks! It was TOTALLY fun! ; ) Those in the know are looking at Mazatlan, Mexico and Waco, Texas for 2024. I know that an Airstream rally is already in the planning stages for Texas…

      • Tx’s for the insight,
Haven’t been to Mazatlan since I was 12, nice opportunity. By ’24 a tour to TX with the Streamers should be fun too. So many choices…
All the best until next we meet!
